While there is a Civil War in the Republican Party and Donald Trump’s campaign continues to spiral out of control, the question has to be asked, ‘Is Donald Trump a case of the “Chickens Coming Home To Roost” in the Republican Party’?  This echoes Malcolm X who talked about a “climate of hate” created by the U.S.  This was the topic during this segment of “Speak Out” with Keith Williams on WEXL 1340 AM in Detroit.  Their guest was Michael Imhotep founder of The African History Network.

It was Donald Trump who was the leader of the Birther movement in 2011 and 2012 claiming that President Barack Obama was not born in the U.S.  This continued even after President Obama produced his long form birth certificate.  Donald Trump even had the audacity to ask for President Obama to release his Harvard transcripts because he questioned Obama’s grades, etc.

Because the GOP did not put Trump in check in 2011 now the lunatics are running the insane asylum and burning it down in the process.  There are GOP donors who are asking for their donations back.  There have been over 150 GOP leaders including both current elected officials and past who have said that they cannot endorse or vote for Trump.  There is also major concern about the effect that this will have on the down ballots.  There is a chance that Republicans can lose control of the House of Representatives and the remote possibility that they can lose control of the Senate as well.
